Gooey Inside
The is a digital artwork was for a friend. I wanted to capture her personality in a metaphoric visual sense. To give you an idea my friend is someone who upon first meeting, she gives off a strong minded and confident person, but once you know her she is actually a really kind and soft person.
The story here, we follow an adventurer who has discovered this giant obsidian statue at the exact time of a eclipse event, where the statue is oozing colorful bright goo out from the heart of the statue.
Pre-drawing Concept
I would initially hand draw the concepts and ideas on to paper first, then transfer the images digitally, from there I am able to scale, move things around as I see fit and test color palettes.
